Baby Boy Quilt from Jelly Roll

Quilt top almost done...nice and simple!  This baby quilt is made from a kona pastel jelly roll. It's so sweet...

I will finish it up with a white border and flannel backing (to make it cuddly).

Hopefully I can have it ready for my newest nephew this weekend.

That's my WIP to share with Lorna at Sew Fresh Quilts and Freshly Pieced

  1. Delightful quilt! The colours are so calming and soothing - your nephew will take one look at this and (hopefully!) sleep lots for his Mummy :)

  2. Lovely quilt! It's so fun to see the Kona pastels together like this. I rarely work with pastels, being a bright color kind-of girl, but this is just so pretty.

I saw above that you usually participate in several link-ups. My Mom and I blog at Prairie Sewn Studios are trying to gain some traction on our new link-up that goes up each Friday and focuses on helping the crafting community connect online and encourage each other by commenting on just three of the posts in the link up. We'd love to have you participate, the info can be found here: http://www.prairiesewnstudios.com/search/label/Crafty%20Comment%20Karma.

    2. I have linked up! What a cool way to connect as mother-daughter when you live so far apart. My mom is about 6 hours away by car but she doesn't craft or quilt... Just asks me to make things for her LOL. Thanks for sharing. I will try to link up as often as I can.

  5. That's such a great quilt design. I love the effect of the offset strip of squares. It makes the quilt so distinctive.
